How to Grow Grapes

Friday, February 20th, 2009

Nice intro to growing grapes. She gives some basic rules for grape growers such as letting you know that grapes need something to grow onto because they are just a big vine. They can grow onto something as simple as a fence. You can grow by seed or graft - a piece of another plant. Let it grow wild for the first year, and then you will need to trim it down. Great for homemade winemakers - do everything involved in the process. And as she says, grape vines are even beautiful to look at.
